Nate is a founding entrepreneur with 17 years of experience growing a startup into a global customer service organization. Along the way, he saw firsthand the toll a commoditized industry took on frontline staff—many felt like disposable production machines. He came to understand that high performance comes from tapping into people’s discretionary effort—the extra energy they give when inspired by great leadership.
This insight led Nate to study today’s leading organizational thinkers, including Adam Grant, Simon Sinek, Brené Brown, Patrick Lencioni, and Jim Collins. He went on to develop a scalable leadership training program that’s been used by hundreds of leaders in his organization over the past decade. As a Partner at Sakara, he’s sharing those lessons and his experience with the wider world.
